Formerly known as the Valentine’s Day
Research/Write-a-thon, our February 14 event was aptly renamed “Paper Hearts
Workshop.” Adjunct Associate Professor and Writing Center Specialist Marian
Gonsior proposed the name, pointing out that we actually did have plenty of
paper hearts, and students were also bringing their papers to us.
The Writing Center and Library host this
annual, all-day event in the Take 5 Lounge. Students come with their papers and
research questions. In addition, students/staff/faculty are also invited to add
to our round-robin stories, respond to one of our Valentine’s-Day-related
prompts, or read aloud from one of our anthologies.
